Tongue & Groove MDF Wall Panelling
Sometimes called farmhouse-style wall panelling, our tongue-and-groove MDF wall panelling is a great way to achieve this look in your own home. Commonly found in high traffic or messy areas such as hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and WCs, this tongue-and-groove panelling allows you to add character and create a unique design feature, while also protecting plaster from bumps and scrapes.
Each length of tongue-and-groove panelling for walls is supplied at 9mm thick by 3000mm long, which allows for it to be cut to the perfect size on site. This style of panelling is typically installed between 900mm to 1500mm high depending on ceiling height and the look you wish to achieve. This means that each length will give you 2 or 3 pieces when cut down to size. Each tongue-and-groove MDF panel is 103mm wide, but once fitted the visible part of each panel is 95mm. The 'tongue' is 8mm so, once the sections are interlocked, 95mm will be visible.
Bespoke widths of tongue-and-groove MDF panels can be manufactured, so if you require something different, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your options.
