Orders must be placed before 2pm for express delivery, and before 5pm for all other delivery options.

We work hard behind the scenes to ensure we deliver as many order as possible with our own fleet of vans and drivers.

Two-hour delivery window.
Delivery arrives on a mercedes sprinter (long wheelbase).
Our drivers may be able to assist bringing your order into or close to your home.

If we cannot deliver with our own fleet, your order will be delivered by our courier partner DX.

Delivery arrives anytime between 08:00 18:00.
Delivery could arrive on any size commercial vehicle up to and including 18-tonnes.

REQUIREMENTS

Please use this box during the checkout process to let us know of any specific requirements your have for your delivery so that there are no surprises on the day. The more we know up front, the better positioned we will be to accommodate your requests.

We aim to provide a completely stress-free delivery experience. The more we know about your situation, the better we can tailor the service to meet your needs.

PREPARING FOR
DELIVERY

Please arrange for someone to be at the delivery address to receive your order. The packages we send you could be over 4 metres long and can weigh up to 25kg each, so it is important that whoever is receiving delivery is aware of this and can move these packages safely.

We recommend having 2 people ready to receive delivery where possible.

It is assumed that the property is easily accessible to all vehicle types. Please let us know in advance if this is not the case so we can work on a solution for you.

Drivers are unable to assist in bringing goods into a property, or to navigate more difficult access situations like flights of stairs etc.

If nobody is going to be at the delivery address, we will default to leaving the goods in a safe space, so please confirm ahead of time if you do not want us to do this.

Once any goods have been left, we cannot be responsible for any loss, damage or theft that may occur, so it is important that you consider this information prior to your delivery and advise us accordingly.

ON THE DAY OF
DELIVERY

Delivery Van

If you require any updates on your delivery on the day, please contact our team and they will be able to help.

If your order is with one of our drivers, we can track them accurately throughout the day and pass on any messages directly to them if need be.

If your order is with a courier, we can ask for an update on your behalf, but generally we are unable to provide any further detail on arrival times as this information is not often passed onto us from the courier company.

We proactively monitor all deliveries taking place each day and if any issues are flagged that might affect your delivery experience we will contact you immediately to keep you updated.

Package Inspection

When your order arrives, you will need to sign to let us know you have accepted delivery so we know you have received everything you ordered in good condition.

We encourage you to look over each package carefully for any signs of damage while the driver is with you (whether it is our own or a courier) and to check that you have received everything you have ordered.

You can then make the driver aware if there is an issue before they depart, which makes resolving any issues much more streamlined and faster.

We strongly advise allowing some time to elapse between receiving your goods and scheduling a tradesperson to fit them. This will enable you to ensure you have everything as ordered at the right quality ready to fit.

If for any reason there is a delay or things aren't as they should be, there will be time for the situation to be rectified without impacting the agreement you have in place with your fitter.

Every effort is made to ensure a successful delivery on your chosen day, but there are instances where things don't quite go to plan, and we (Skirting 4 U LTD) cannot be held responsible for any impact (financial or otherwise) to your arrangements with tradespeople or other third parties

Delivery FAQ

When will my order arrive?

Your order will arrive on the date you selected during the checkout process. You can find this date on your invoice. If we need to amend your delivery date we will contact you directly to ask your permission to make the change, so any communication from our office team will supersede the date printed on your invoice. If you are at all unsure when your delivery is due, please reach out to our team. 

Can I track my delivery?

If you need any further information on your delivery, please contact us and we will ask for information from our courier partner on your behalf or track our driver in real time to update you depending on which shipping method has been used for your order. 

Do you deliver on weekends or bank holidays?

We do not currently offer a delivery service for weekends or Bank Holidays 

What happens if I’m not home?

If nobody is at the delivery address when your order arrives, an attempt will be made to leave the goods at the property in a safe location. If this is not possible, the goods will be returned to the depot and delivery will need to be rescheduled for another day.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free for all orders over £500 (ex VAT), and for all other orders the delivery fee is detailed above on this page and will be visible in the checkout before you confirm and pay for your order. 

Do you deliver internationally?

We do not deliver internationally at this time. We are also unable to deliver to the following postcode areas in the UK -
